Lagu Yang Gue Banget

Minggu-minggu ini gue lagi nemuin lagu-lagu yang berasa gue banget. Berasanya gue banget, soalnya pas gue dengerin lagu itu, gue berasa curhat sama diri gue sendiri, atau gue berasa dikasih motivasi buat melakukan sesuatu.

Salah dua lagu yang lagi berasa gue banget adalah I Don't Care by Fall Out Boy dan Before It's Too Late by Goo Goo Dolls.

First. I Don't Care by Fall Out Boy.

Ini adalah single pertama dari album terbarunya Fall Out Boy, Folie A Deux. I think this song is more rocks than the songs in their last album. Lebih nge-rock gimanaa gitu. Kenapa gue bilang lagu ini gue banget, let's check out the lyrics.

Gue nggak peduli apa yang lo pikirin., selama itu tentang gue.

Intinya adalah, gue sebodo amat sama apa yang orang pikirin tentang gue. Especially in a bad thing. Bodo amat orang mau ngejelekin gue, mau ngehina-hina gue, mau ngatain gue kurus ato gendut (hey, gue nggak terima kalo dibilang kurus ato gendut!), pokoknya bilang sesuatu yang buruk tentang gue. Bodo amat dah. Selama itu bukan tentang gue, selama itu semua cuma gosip (berasa jadi seleb gue ngomong gini, hehe). Gue nggak peduli. It's me and you can not disturb my self at all. Just take care of your own self. You're not even better than me, heh?

Jahh, kenapa gue malah esmosi? Hohoho.

Nah, lagu yang kedua. Before It's Too Late by Goo Goo Dolls.

Gue tau ni lagu udah lumayan lama. Tapi baru sekarang gue ngerasa kalo ni lagu ngena banget, walaupun udah gue dengerin dari tahun lalu.

Menurut gue, lagu ini bercerita tentang seseorang yang kehilangan kepercayaan dirinya. Tapi kemudian dia dikasih semacam motivasi untuk menumbuhkan kepercayaan dirinya lagi, untuk ngasih tau bahwa kesempatan cuma ada sekali, and we have to get that change before it's too late.

Liat kan, lagunya gue banget.

Gue berasa dikasih tau kalo gue harus bisa mengambil semua kesempatan yang ada sekarang, sebelum itu semua terlambat, dan gue jadi menyesal. Tapi, gue juga diingetin bahwa untuk menjadikan kesempatan itu sebuah keberhasilan, gue harus tetap jadi diri gue sendiri. Because you are what you do, what you look like.

Dilihat-lihat, kedua lagu itu agak-agak nyambung ya. Dan yang pasti, kedua lagu itu kasih masukan positif ke gue.

Dan bikin gue semangat buat mencapai obsesi-obsesi gue yang lain, setelah YANG SATU ITU terlewatkan.. :)
